A voice for the voiceless

A decent respect for the opinions of mankind is all well and good, but what value is it if communication can not occur? The ability to easily share opinions is a hallmark of the digital age, but there are many who have great difficulty communicating at all. For one segment of that group, there may be hope on the horizon in the form of a giant glove.

HandTalk, a giant bluetooth enabled glove, senses hand movements and converts sign language to voice. The HandTalk pairs with a cell phone, and presumably other devices allowing all of us to communicate more effectively. We Impatient Sufferers believe that technology is one of our greatest tools to realize the equality we aspire towards. Devices like HandTalk are great examples of what we mean.
