Another step towards open media

Though the first DivX phone hit the market almost a year ago, we are always glad to see more devices adopt open file standards. The DivX codec is a lightweight, high quality encoder for video files. The more devices that support it, the sooner we will achieve a future where content is quickly easily digitally distributed across platforms.
