Pats trademark what they can’t accomplish
We have seen some pretty silly stuff in the way of copyright issues recently. This takes the cake though. The New England Patriots went 18-1, loosing to my NY Football Giants in the Superbowl last season. They were close enough to taste the sweetness of a perfect 19-0 season and apparently that taste wasn’t enough.
As their season wound down they put in an application to copyright trademark “19-0″ hoping to make every buck possible out of their anticipated victory. The Giants, of course, changed all that and the 19-0 season became a dream not quite manifested. This hasn’t stopped the Pats from continuing their effort to copyright trademark “19-0″.
We here at the Imp plan to copyright trademark the number 27 in anticipation of the Yankees next world series win. Those selfish numbers have been public domain for too long and it’s time to put a stop to it.

The Patriots did not try to copyright anything. They tried to TRADEMARK “19-0.” There’s an astronomical difference.
